Requirements:
- BSc (Civil Engineering) or BTech (Civil/Structural Engineering)
- Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech is required.
- Registered Bridge Inspector certification would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 12 years experience in bridge design.
- Proficient in Finite Element Design Software including Sofistik Prokon AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experienced in preparing contract documentation technical specifications and bills of quantities.
- Familiarity with SANRAL processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of bridge hydrology and hydraulics would be beneficial.
- Experience in the design of feature bridges is a strong advantage.
