Morris Animal Inn is a familyowned awardwinning pet resort with multiple locations in North New Jersey! We specialize in providing toptier pet lodging grooming training and daycare services. We are now hiring Seasonal and Permanent PartTime Pet Care Specialists at our Warren facility. PLEASE NOTE: We are staffed MondaySunday from 6AM10PM and availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
No prior professional experience is requiredbut a natural comfort around dogs of all sizes is essential! The starting rate is $15.50/hour with additional pay considerations for candidates with prior professional pet care experience.
What Youll Be Doing
- Engage handson in the health and wellness of our canine and feline guests.
- Prepare & deliver meals while following precise schedules and instructions.
- Provide engaging enrichment activities including nature trail walks offleash play and cuddle sessions.
- Maintain detailed records for each pet guest.
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of the facility and pet areas.
- Help us deliver outstanding customer service by maintaining detailed observations and records for each pet guest.

What Were Looking For
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes breeds and temperaments (prior experience preferred but not required)
- Willingness to perform cleaning duties related to animal care
- Teamoriented mindset with strong time management skills
- Ability to read and write in English (for documentation communication and safety procedures)
- Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Weekend and holiday availability is required
