Job Description
Oregon City Service Learning Academy is seeking a creative and collaborative science teacher to join our team. We are a small high school program with a focus on nontraditional learners and offering hands on learning for our students. With a student to teacher ratio of 18:1 staff has the ability to differentiate provide rich and meaningful feedback and create learning experiences that are relevant and contextual. Be part of a tight knit team of teachers in a school of just 140 students in grades 912.
Special Requirements:
1. Valid Oregon teaching license appropriate to the assignment.
2. Must have a science endorsement.
3. Project based learning training and experience preferred.
4. Must be willing to work as a team member.
5. Bilingual applicants preferred but not required.
6. Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
7. Ability to work well with other staff parents and students.
This position is 1.0 FTE; 191 days per year
Start date: 8/25/2025
New staff inservice will be held 8/19/20258/20/2025 and will be paid in addition to contract days.
