Job Description
Job Duties: (Fulltime) Responsible for computer systems PLCs control circuits communication systems I/O field devices VFD drives/motors measurement systems and other control equipment; Coordinate BRS contractor and vendor activities to install or modify electrical equipment following electrical code manuals schematic diagrams and other specifications; Work directly with all maintenance and operations personnel in a fastpaced environment to help develop a safetyfocused productive roll mill team support electrical teammates to help maintain a positive and efficient work environment focused on safety and reliability; Manage the design development implementation and procurement of hardware and/or software for improvement projects and provide support for other disciplines projects.
Job Requirements: Position requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Computer Science Manufacturing Engineering and other closely related degrees and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of related automation experience in the metals industry. Must have 5 years of experience in the following skills: NFPA 70E safe work practices; Interpreting electrical hydraulic and pneumatic schematics; Advanced PLC programming (Siemens or similar); Regulator tuning data acquisition/analysis motor and drives control communication systems and HMI experience.
