Position Overview:
Our client a leader in renewable and conventional power generation is seeking an experienced Director of Asset Management to lead their Buffalo Grovebased team. This strategic leadership role requires deep expertise in energy markets financial optimization and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will oversee a diverse portfolio of generation assets while driving operational excellence and maximizing financial performance.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering Finance or related quantitative field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Experience:
- 10 years in asset management including leadership of generation assets in North American ISOs.
- 2 years of NERC compliance oversight in a directorlevel or SME role.
- Proven track record in portfolio optimization and market analytics.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced financial modeling (Excel) and risk assessment capabilities.
- Mastery of electricity capacity and emissions market dynamics.
- Leadership Skills:
- Exceptional stakeholder management (executives ISOs regulators).
- Strategic vision for team development and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Leadership: Oversee financial operational and regulatory performance of power generation and biofuel assets.
- Strategic Partnerships: Serve as primary liaison for ISOs investors and regulatory bodies.
- Market Optimization: Lead energy/capacity settlement processes and emissions trading strategies.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to NERC standards and market rules.
- Team Development: Mentor asset management professionals and align crossfunctional goals.
