One of our clients is seeking a handson and strategic Microsoft Cloud Architect to lead critical cloud modernization initiatives. You ll drive enterprise cloud planning implementation and change management aligned with an IT Strategic Roadmap. This is a highvisibility role requiring both deep technical expertise and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to nontechnical leadership.
Strategic Communication & Leadership Alignment:
Create executivelevel dashboards roadmaps and milestone visualizations.
Present updates to IT Steering Committees and Town leaders.
Translate technical content into plain language for decisionmakers.
Cloud Technology Implementation:
Deploy and manage Microsoft Entra ID Intune and Zero Trust security models.
Implement MFA Conditional Access DLP policies and Microsoft Defender.
Lead migration and governance of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
Optimize configurations and remediate system issues.
Change Management & User Enablement:
Lead training roadshows communications and adoption campaigns.
Monitor user adoption and adjust rollout plans accordingly.
Create guides selfhelp content and FAQ resources.
Project Coordination & Risk Management:
Maintain project roadmaps dependencies and timelines.
Collaborate with vendors internal teams and department stakeholders.
Identify and escalate risks blockers and misalignments.
Training & Technical Support:
Deliver training and technical onboarding during rollout phases.
Maintain support documentation and operational runbooks.
Provide Tier 2/3 support during key transition periods.
8 years in IT architecture or engineering roles with 4 years focused on Microsoft cloud technologies.
Proven experience with Microsoft 365 Entra ID Intune Zero Trust SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
Strong executive communication and visual storytelling skills.
Experience in leading change management training and user adoption efforts.
Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Office 365 IAM and DLP.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and physically reside within the U.S. during the assignment.
Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week initially no exceptions.
Must attend an inperson interview after an initial virtual screening no offers will be made without it.
