ESE Educator 2025/2026 Openings!

Were seeking a compassionate and skilled educator who is committed to making a difference in the lives of students with exceptional needs. If you believe in the power of inclusive education and individualized learning we d love to have you join our team!

In this fulltime role youll serve as an LBS1certified Special Education Teacher leading instruction in a resource room setting. Your focus will be on designing and delivering customized educational plans that support both academic and developmental growth for each student.

In this role youll cultivate a wellorganized nurturing classroom that supports positive behavior and active student participation. Youll tailor and modify lesson plans to suit various learning preferences and address each students unique academic and developmental objectives. Your teaching will cover core subjects while also focusing on building students socialemotional awareness and practical life skills. A strong emphasis will be placed on clear ongoing communication with families and caregivers to foster collaborative support systems. Youll monitor student growth keep thorough records and adjust your instructional approaches as needed to ensure meaningful progress. Above all you ll work to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student feels empowered respected and set up for success.

Requirements

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Prior experience supporting students with disabilities is strongly preferred.
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement (required).
