Job Description
Facility: Saint Marys Hospital (SMHP)
Location: 350 Boulevard Passaic NJ 07055
Shift: 3:00 PM 10:00 PM (8-hour shifts; M-F)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $63/hr (W2) $67/hr (1099)
Experience Required: 2 years
- Provide direct and indirect perioperative nursing care for patients across all age groups: neonates to geriatrics
- Work closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures
- Coordinate care with the surgical team and provide direction to OR Techs and support staff
- Uphold professional nursing standards hospital policies and regulatory compliance
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives staff meetings and training sessions
- Maintain an organized and efficient operating room environment
- Must be able to take call as required
- Current and valid RN license in the state of New Jersey
- BLS certification (AHA) active upon hire
- ACLS certification (AHA) within 30 days of hire
- PALS certification (AHA) within 30 days of hire
- Minimum 2 year of perioperative nursing experience.
- Experience with both Pre-Op and Post-Op care
- Ability to fulfill all on-call responsibilities without exception
- CNOR Certification (Certified Nurse Operating Room AORN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
