As we continue to expand our portfolio we are seeking an experienced Operations Lead Business Development to drive strategic initiatives and operational efficiency within our growth pipeline.
The Operations Lead Business Development will play a key role in identifying evaluating and managing new business opportunities partnerships and strategic initiatives. This individual will coordinate crossfunctional teams manage development timelines and ensure operational excellence throughout the business development lifecycle.
Identify and evaluate new market opportunities partnerships and acquisition targets.
Assist in preparing business proposals financial models and feasibility reports.
Support due diligence efforts for potential development deals or joint ventures.
Track industry trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
Coordinate internal resources and thirdparty vendors to execute business development initiatives.
Develop monitor and report on project timelines budgets and performance metrics.
Collaborate with legal finance and construction teams to align strategic planning with operational execution.
Implement systems and processes that improve efficiency across business development activities.
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including investors municipal partners brokers and consultants.
Represent the company at industry events networking functions and meetings.
Facilitate communications between internal departments and external partners to ensure alignment and project momentum.
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Real Estate Urban Planning or related field; MBA is a plus.
5 years of experience in operations business development or project management ideally within real estate development or construction.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM and project management tools is an asset.
Experience in land acquisition or development project planning.
Familiarity with permitting zoning and municipal approval processes.
Understanding of financial modeling and ROI analysis in real estate.
