Our client a leading organization within Construction firm is looking for an experienced Training Coordinator with 4 years experience in a similar role. The company located in Oshawa is growing its team and they need you.
Your responsibilities will include:
- The Training Coordinator is responsible for organizing tracking and supporting the delivery of training programs across the organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees meet safety quality and skill development requirements
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external training sessions and security clearances for employees and subcontractors.
- Maintain and track accurate training records including attendance completion and certification status.
- Develop training modules and courses and source external training opportunities to enhance employee skills ensure regulatory compliance and support ongoing professional development.
- Lead the tracking and reporting of employee training and certification status across departments ensuring timely completion and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

3-5 years working experience in training coordination, HR support, or administrative role. Experience working in a unionized environment is considered an asset Post Secondary Education in HR or Business Administration Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), exposure to Sage Timberline an asset Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong understanding of Training, and HR processes Ability to exercise good judgement in high pressure, sensitive situations
