LOCATION: 760 Westchester Ave Rye Brook NY 10573
HOURS: 10:00am 6:30pm; Monday to Friday
FULL TIME: Benefits Eligible
In this role you will:
Lead Histology laboratory operations with a focus on identifying areas of opportunity and implementing action plans.
Support the General Manager with organizational goals and objectives including developing and inspiring your team of employees.
Interact with a variety of clients employees and business units with a commitment to customerfocused service.
Review business indicators optimize processes and maximize profitability.
Champion safety compliance and quality control.
All you need is:
Bachelors or higher in a clinical laboratory science medical technology or chemical physical or biological science
NYS license as a Clinical Lab Technologist or Histotechnologist
Experience required:
If you hold a Masters degree 2 years of experience postlicensure is required
If you hold a Bachelors degree 4 years of experience postlicensure is required
Exceptional communication and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment under time constraints without close supervision.
Previous supervisory experience.
Bonus points if youve got:
Previous experience in a clinical laboratory or other service organization.
ASCP (HT/HTL) preferred but not required
Salary Range: $130000 to $150000 per year (depending on experience). Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
Sonic Healthcare USA reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Any difference between actual compensation and the posted range will be based on factors other than race color religion sex (including pregnancy) or national origin.
