    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Valid California teaching credential
    2. Crosscultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD)
    Certificate Bilingual Crosscultural Language and Academic
    Development (BCLAD) Certificate or Bilingual Authorization required
    3. Five years of successful classroom experience and/or school support
    4. Knowledge of effective teaching and learning skills and strategies for English Learners


    REPORTS TO:Administrators as Assigned

    JOB GOAL:To facilitate the coordination of programs at the District Level and to assist school staff in implementing programs which will provide English Learners in the district with educational opportunities of consistently high standard in line with the districts vision mission and values

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Provides assistance and information to school and district staff on content as assigned
    2. Acts as resource and assists school and district staff in selection of appropriate instructional materials
    3. Acts as resource for planning instructional inservices for school and district staff
    4. Serves and participates on district committees and performs related tasks
    5. Collaborates with departments across the district
    6. Provides supports for English Learners and immigrant students
    7. Supports the implementation of state and federal categoricallyfunded programs grant funded programs as well as school and district initiatives within the department
    8. Assists with state assessments
    9. Models personal and professional values of equity integrity caring collaboration and personal and collective accountability
    10. Performs other duties as assigned


    SALARY: $88016 $ 150033 annually (214 day)
    (max. salary includes educational stipends)

    EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the Districts Improvement of Professional Services handbook Board Policies and Procedures and consistent with collective bargaining agreements when applicable

Please check with Human Resources regarding acceptable documents. For positions requiring college course work official transcripts will be required upon employment.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

    Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operators license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
