The Commercial Interface Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth coordination and communication between various stakeholders across the Project. The role holder is responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks throughout the interface programme. The role holder ensures successful integration of work and prevents any gaps or overlaps that could lead to project delays or cost overruns. Through continuous monitoring and proactive issue resolution the Commercial Interface Manager ensures the successful delivery of all interface activities on matters not related to the M100/M300/M400/M500. The role holder helps to streamline the project by managing the dependencies and interactions between various parties ultimately contributing to the projects success.
Principal Accountabilities
- Support the Delivery Commercial Interface Lead by managing a dynamic and challenging interface programme.
- Manage multiple stakeholders to facilitate an effective and rigorous assurance process. Accommodate change while maintaining the programme and achieving project objectives.
- Address substantial issues within an ongoing Interface programme.
- Oversee interactions between contractors subcontractors vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment and shared goals.
- Identify potential risks and issues related to interfaces and implement mitigation strategies providing expert advice to senior management as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders formalising processes to prevent misunderstandings and conflicts.
- Manage the development negotiation approval and execution of commercial agreements related to delivery commercial interface activities.
- Ensure seamless integration of work done by different contractors preventing gaps or overlaps that could cause delays or cost overruns.
- Continuously monitor interface activities and report on their status promptly addressing and resolving any issues that arise.

Experience
- 5 years experience in a similar Delivery Commercial Interface Manager role.
- Experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies managing contracts and negotiating agreements.
- Experience in managing delivery processes logistics or supply chain operations.

- Strong project management skills to oversee the planning execution and completion of the project.
- Ability to effectively engage with and manage relationships with various stakeholders including customers regulatory bodies and internal teams.
- Expertise in identifying assessing and mitigating risks associated with interfaces.
- Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions to keep the project on track.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and relate to individuals and groups both technical and nontechnical.

- Strong ability to write document and maintain technical standards guidelines and workflows.
- Ability to identify gaps in information governance and suggest recommended solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in developing structured documentation and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate complex information management concepts into clear actionable guidance and coordinate and communicate important information across team.
- Ability to assess refine and continuously improve information management protocols and documentation.
- Ability to work in a collaborative manner that is positive open transparent and is a clear and effective communicator to foster a committed strategic innovative and inclusive culture.
- Ability to work effectively within a cross function multidisciplinary functions matrix environment while ensuring that all procurement related tasks are conducted in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to multitask prioritise and work well under pressure to meet established deadlines.
- Ability to develop long term relationships with the Directorate wide team members.
Qualifications :
- Minimum level 8 degree in engineering construction or a related subject matter or equivalent experience.
Memberships
- Membership of Institute of Management Consulting Association of Project Management Project Managers Institute (PMI) desirable
