We are seeking a professional and friendly Doorman to join our team in stanbul Trkiye. As the first point of contact for our guests you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for everyone entering our establishment.
- Greet guests warmly and provide a hospitable welcome upon their arrival
- Assist guests with luggage opening doors and providing directions or information about hotel services and local attractions
- Manage the flow of traffic at the hotel entrance ensuring a smooth and organized arrival and departure process for guests
- Coordinate with valet parking services and assist guests with their transportation needs including calling taxis or providing information about public transit
- Maintain a clean and tidy entrance area free of obstacles and hazards
- Stay informed about daily hotel activities events and VIP guests to provide accurate and timely information
- Collaborate with security personnel to ensure the safety of guests and the property
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously escalating issues to appropriate departments when necessary
- Assist with special events or hightraffic periods as needed
- Uphold the hotels standards of customer service and professionalism at all times
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one years experience in customer service or hospitality industry
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Exceptional customer service orientation with the ability to anticipate and meet guest needs
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm courteous and professional in all situations
- Good judgment and problemsolving skills particularly when dealing with challenging guests
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work in a diverse multicultural environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with luggage as needed
- Valid drivers license
- Basic computer skills for using hotel management systems and logging guest requests
- Knowledge of Jeddah and the surrounding area is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Impeccable grooming and adherence to uniform standards
