Deputy Nursery Manager (TermTime Only)

Hours: 45 hours per week

As Deputy Nursery Manager you will play a key role in supporting the Nursery Manager with the daytoday running of the nursery. Youll help lead a committed team to deliver a nurturing stimulating and safe environment where children can flourish. Youll also assist in maintaining high standards of care supporting staff development and ensuring strong relationships with families.
What Were Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
- Previous experience in a similar role demonstrating leadership and team management skills.
- Sound understanding of early years frameworks health and safety and safeguarding procedures
- A confident communicator who enjoys supporting a team and leading by example

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning delivering and maintaining a highquality early years provision
- Support the creation of a safe secure and enriching environment for children to grow and learn
- Deputise in the absence of the Nursery Manager overseeing daily operations including staffing ratios and compliance
- Support staff supervision training and development to promote best practices across the team
- Help maintain Ofsted standards contributing to continuous improvement and quality assurance
- Build positive professional relationships with parents and carers encouraging engagement and regular communication
- Assist with safeguarding procedures ensuring all childrens wellbeing is a top priority
