Step into the role of an Operations Supervisor Production and become a driving force in managing a larger team and carrying additional responsibilities for performance reviews and training development of the team.
Responsibilities
- Enforce safe work systems ensure accountability for health and safety and provide proper PPE and safe equipment
- Inform train instruct and supervise employees to carry out tasks safely and effectively
- Strive for zero injuries by promoting safety activities investigating incidents and implementing countermeasures
- Manage production operations to meet schedules efficiently while solving daytoday issues and monitoring performance
- Supervise team deployment attendance and address underperformance or discipline issues
- Monitor and improve operating standards reduce operator downtime and empower team members with responsibilities
- Escalate critical issues to management provide cover for absent supervisors and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Recommend improvements support communication involve team members in initiatives and handle training and development
Qualifications
- BEng BA or BS in Operations/Production/Supply Chain Management/Engineeringor a related field
- Minimum of 35 years supervisory experience and/or relevant qualifications; educated to at least secondary/high school level
- Strong interpersonal influencing coaching and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish and advanced proficiency in English
- Proven ability to build and manage effective relationships with enthusiasm and patience to develop others
- Teamoriented mindset with a strong customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement
- Analytical and numerically skilled with the ability to interpret data and take appropriate action
- Business acumen with financial and commercial awareness; able to create and present wellstructured proposals
- Selfmotivated with a proactive handson approach to problemsolving and operations
- Advanced PC skills required
