Job Description
The primary purpose of the role as a member of the Experian Network Operations team is to provide operational network engineering support and decrease MTTR. You will work with the security build and operational teams to maintain a secure network infrastructure to follow stringent Regulatory Governmental and Industry security control requirements. You will approach every day with a collaborative and teamfocused mentality. All while working within ITIL methodology to deliver highquality incident management problem resolution and implementation of changes to maintain every aspect of Experians global network infrastructure.
Reporting to a Global ENOC Lead Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct incident troubleshooting support and management working with internal and external customers and vendors when needed
- Monitor the network and security systems within a global multiregion multitenant cloud (AWS Azure GCP & etc.) and on premises environment. Includes Checkpoint and Cisco FWs Cisco and Arista switches/routers F5 and Citrix Load Balancers McAfee and Checkpoint IPS appliances Incapsula WAFs and more
- Document process and issues with tools like Confluence Service Now and Visio/Lucid Charts
- Work with leadership and other teams to establish processes will reduce MTTI/MTTD/MTTR
- Create technicallevel communications to gain credibility/trust of internal and external customers
- Maintain technical knowledge of Network and Cloud technologies
- Certificate Lifecycle Management with network loadbalancers security IPS/WAF/Proxy
Schedule available:
- Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday Subject to availability.
- 11:00 AM 8:00 PM Central time Subject to time zone changes.
Qualifications :
- 4 years of experience managing network technologies in a large globally diverse environment.
- Experience with stateful firewalls (Cisco ASA Checkpoint Fortinet) and packet inspection techniques.
- Experience commonly deployed WAN technologies and concepts P2P MPLS VRF Wave SDWAN WAN Optimization Switching Routers.
- Experience working with Citrix Netscaler or F5 load balancers is beneficial.
- Experience of virtual networking technologies such as ASA virtual contexts VRFs Fortinet VDOMs and virtual networking devices such as Cisco CSR 1000v.
- Experience with packet capture and analysis using WireShark.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as NNMi Thousand Eyes Grafana Dynatrace and Extrahop.
- Expertise working with Telecommunications carriers.
- Experience with ITIL incident problem and change management.
- Experience exercising judgment in complex high pressure situations.
- Ability using established processes and documentation.

This is a permanent homebased role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
