The Role
As a Lighting Director within the Studios & Outside Broadcasts Operational team you will be supporting a variety of production role involves setting up and operating lighting equipment to support the Studio/Outside Broadcast environment.
The Job
- Coordinate with departments on equipment purchase and installation
- Monitor and maintain studio lighting to broadcast standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and talent representing ABC professionally
- Lead lighting design and management for complex productions
- Create and adjust lighting plans manage budgets labour and deadlines
- Uphold high technical and operational standards and mentor staff to enhance their skills
- Collaborate on production planning and technical design
- Support development of program style and philosophy

About You
You will have advanced operational expertise with an understanding of key activities and relevant production processes systems and equipment in the work area. You will also have;
- Demonstrated advanced skills experience and artistic insight
- Deep understanding of production processes and equipment
- Expert experience in production equipment and setups
- Lead a crew to deliver creative vision smoothly
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Collaborative and proactive team player
- Commitment to safe work practices
