DescriptionYou will have overall responsibility for leading the Small Business Sales Team in Canada being responsible for executing on all merchant acquisition activity across the assigned segment. You will build a strong business culture and collaborate with key stakeholders across the Merchant Services business and across the firm with a focus on maximizing relationships with key strategic customers and partners developing a strong pipeline of new business and delivering the firm to our customers.
You will be responsible for achieving specific revenue volume and client acquisition goals and will lead a diverse and geographically dispersed team to deliver against these goals. The successful candidate will define and drive the overall Small Business Sales strategy for the region and will also collaborate with crossfunctional partners to ensure strong alignment. This position also works closely and collaboratively with the broader leadership team including those leading Product Operations Technology and all other enablement functions including Chases shared services such as HR Controls Compliance Risk and Legal.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the Small Business Sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share growth across all channels.
- Lead a team of over 50 people setting vision and structure for client delivery aligned with firm goals.
- Ensure engagement and alignment with referral partners and deliver growth through direct sales digital acquisition and distribution partnerships.
- Actively participate in the Canadian leadership team collaborating across multiple business functions.
- Represent Chase Payment Solutions in Canada engaging with customers and trade organizations.
- Establish effective internal controls and risk management in collaboration with control partners.
- Develop a highperforming team through performance management and coaching.
Experience Requirements:
- 10 years in sales management and leadership with expertise in sales strategy and operational execution.
- Proven experience in the payments industry or technologyenabled sectors with a strong track record of results.
- Experience managing large dispersed teams and negotiating complex agreements.
- Ability to attract retain and develop employees.

- Expertise in optimizing distribution channels and migrating businesses to digital models.
