General Dynamics Mission SystemsCanada is looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer to join our A&N Sonar team. In this role youll lead systems engineering efforts that can span form System Design Requirements Analysis and SI V&V activities. You will work closely with program and engineering teams our Subject Matter Experts and customers. You will collaborate with leadership to align project needs and drive technical excellence.
- Develop document and review system designs and use cases define system interfaces and conduct analyses
- Lead System Integration activities test plans cases procedures and methods for system verification
- Prepare requirements documents and specifications
- Problem solve to understand the cause and effect in complex systems
- Review technical documentation provide analysis
- Investigate system defects and raise problem reports
- Develop Integration and Test Plans and Procedures including configuration descriptions and expected outcomes.
- Build configure and validate test environments.
- Lead planning and coordinating test activities
- Execute formal and informal test procedures gather appropriate measures and data analyze and interpret test data and prepare test reports
- Identify investigate and document defects and verify solutions
- Manage requirement mapping to automated and manual test cases
- Develop and maintain automated test tools and scripts
Qualifications :
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.
- 8years of experience
- Experience in/with:
- Requirements development and system design
- Requirements management tools
- Systems Engineering processes and tools
- Supporting System Integration and System Verification
- Working in multidisciplinary teams
- Technical writing
- Understanding of Software Engineering principles
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to conduct analysis leading to good conclusions
- Enthusiastic contributor willing to learn and takes pride and ownership of work
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
