The Warehouse Shift Supervisor in Lessines is crucial for the smooth operation of our warehouse during assigned shifts. This role involves direct management of warehouse staff including Shift Leaders with a focus on efficient workflows safety standards and inventory management. The leadership provided is essential for creating a productive work environment motivating teams and achieving operational goals while adhering to internal policies social laws and lean management principles.

What youll do

• Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee all daily activities including receiving storing and shipping products to maintain a wellorganized workflow.
• Manage Teams: Directly supervise operations staff providing guidance support and performance feedback to meet operational targets.
• Motivate and Develop Teams: Foster a positive work environment recognize achievements and implement training programs to enhance skills and performance.
• Improve Efficiency: Develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency reduce waste and streamline processes using lean management principles.
• Ensure Compliance: Adhere to internal organizational rules safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
• Manage Inventory: Monitor inventory levels conduct stock checks and coordinate with the inventory control team to maintain accurate records.
• Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address issues promptly.
• Report and Resolve Issues: Prepare daily reports on warehouse activities and resolve operational issues swiftly raising to management when necessary.
• Flexible Work Schedule: Be prepared to work various shifts including early mornings lates nights exceptionnelly on weekends.

What youll bring

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelors degree in warehouse/supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in warehouse operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience managing unionized workforces and understanding labor relations is a plus.
• Skills: Strong supervisory and motivational abilities proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite and a proactive mentality focused on continuous improvement.
