Job Title: Department Chair Innovation Technology and Entrepreneurship (1Year Only Position)

Position Overview:
The Department Chair for Innovation Technology and Entrepreneurship will lead efforts to design and implement innovative technologyintegrated learning experiences that promote personalized studentcentered instruction. This oneyear position will support faculty staff and students in leveraging digital tools and emerging technologies to enhance teaching learning and college/career readiness. The chair will also coordinate crossdisciplinary collaboration oversee districtwide A.I. integration efforts and help drive strategic instructional initiatives aligned with the districts vision for futureready learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with teachers leaders and guidance department to coordinate college and career readiness opportunities for students including (but not limited to) pathways such as Innovation Career Pathways.
- Coordinate the Districts plan for myCAP in Grades 612.
- Design and support implementation of innovative personalized learning experiences for faculty staff and students with a focus on digital integration.
- Collaborate with department chairs and instructional leaders to lead crossdisciplinary and strategic learning initiatives across Grades 612.
- Oversee and support the development and implementation of district policy related to Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and its integration into digital learning environments.
- Partner with the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching & Learning to design and deliver professional learning opportunities for educators in Grades 612.
- Provide leadership coaching and supervision to technology integrators coaches and library/media specialists.
- Serve as a thought partner and resource for instructional innovation educational technology and entrepreneurial learning opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in instructional leadership technology integration or innovation in education.Strong understanding of personalized learning models and digital pedagogy.
- Knowledge of current and emerging technologies including applications of A.I. in education.
- Ability to lead crossfunctional teams and foster collaborative professional communities.
- Experience designing and delivering professional learning for educators.
- Demonstrated commitment to preparing students for college career and future innovation opportunities.
