Position Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician III to join our dynamic team. In this role you will maintain and repair the property and equipment to ensure maximum machinery and equipment uptime. You will work closely with production grow team and all other relevant departments to perform essential repairs and preventive maintenance minimizing disruption to production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe safety protocols and manufacturer instructions when performing maintenance tasks.

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on tools equipment machines and buildings ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Document all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks performed.

  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to communicate equipment status repairs and improvements.

  • Work with outside contractors during facility projects.

  • Perform minor repairs to building fixtures plumbing and electrical systems and conduct touchup painting as needed.

  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repairs as well as transfer tools and parts to workstations.

  • Adjust connect and disconnect wiring piping and other parts using hand or power tools.

  • Clean lubricate and maintain vehicles machinery equipment and components to ensure proper functioning.

  • Recommend and report building and equipment improvements to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a trade apprenticeship or technical training is preferred.

3 to 5 years of related experience in facility maintenance.

Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment control systems and HVAC systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams blueprints and schematics.

Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS).

Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.

Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Physical Demands:
(Physical demands are a general guide and specific positions will vary based on working conditions locations and facility/department needs)

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee is regularly required to sit; use hand to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.

While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and environments both hot and cold.

The noise level in the work environment is usually low.

  • The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example: two arms two legs or one leg and one arm) while sitting standing or lying down.

  • The ability to time movements in anticipation of changes in the speed and/or direction of a moving object.

  • The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift push pull or carry objects.

  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move 10 to 25 pounds and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
