- Core Responsability :
- Provides management information and insights on all dimensions of business performance to facilitate discussion and decision making both on a periodic basis and for adhoc management requests.
- Provides inputs and supports the preparation of the annual budget for own department tracks expenditure and ensures adherence to the budget.
- Supports the development of the workforce plan for own department by providing inputs based on workload analysis and forecasting trends.
- Assists in the implementation of Otiss vision mission and cultural values across all employee groups in the department.
- Implements and monitors approved department policies procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality costeffective services.
- Reviews amendments to the plan schedule (baseline) based on the contract specification.
- Monitors the schedule with inputs based on information from FOD Project team.
- Leads the identification of critical activities using different methods and highlights them to the FOD team.
- Assigns resources such as manpower materials etc. for the project activities and prepares the detailed resource schedule/requirement plan.
- Reviews procurement/submittal status reports in project specific format and monitors the actual against plan to highlight any potential delays.
- Leads the maintenance of project records in accordance with contractual requirements with inputs from source factories and FOD teams.
- Manages the monitoring of actual progress against planed schedule and highlights to the FOD team on potential slippage.
- Assists FOD team to prepare delay schedule for any claim issues such as EOT etc.
- Assists FOD teams with the writing of spreadsheets and structures for planning and measurement of job progress and performance.
- Attends weekly / monthly site meetings on any matters associated within area of planning.
- Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
- Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.
- Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.
- Keeps abreast of professional developments new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
Minimum Requirements - Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mech.) or equivalent
- Masters degree in Engineering (Mech.) is preferred
- Relevant certification such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in planning and coordinating technical projects in a multinational organization
- At least 4 years in positions of progressively increasing responsibilities
- Fluent written and spoken English essential Arabic preferred
