Job Description

Summary:

We are currently seeking a Director of Data Engineering to join our Data Engineering team. This role is available to candidates across Canada and the US. If you are local to one of our hubs (Burnaby Calgary or Toronto) you will be expected to be in office minimum once per week on one of our Anchor Days.

The team builds internal infrastructure which enables access to analytical data about Clios business as well as external infrastructure to help our customers derive insights and make business decisions about the operations of their firm. Externally and internally this team helps power business decisions from the tactical to the strategic.

The ideal candidate is someone who can collaborate across the organization to pull together common threads from various data owners and stakeholders foster discussions about resolving common friction points and unknowns and ultimately put their hands on the keyboard to lead from the front and create solutions. The successful candidate will have a mandate to support and accelerate all data initiatives at Clio as well as a license to help define our data strategy.

Compensation is one of the main components of Clios Total Rewards Program. We have developed a series of programs and processes to ensure we are creating fair and competitive pay practices that form the foundation of our human and highperforming culture.

Some highlights of our Total Rewards program include:

The full salary range* for this role is $208000 to $260000 to $312000 note salary bands may differ based on location and local currency. Additionally benefit offerings may differ depending on the employees location.

In addition this role is eligible for variable pay that is based on company performance with actual payout amounts calculated and paid on a quarterly basis.

*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
