About the role
This is a weekdayonly position with no shift work and guaranteed public holidays off offering excellent worklife balance.
Deliver highquality evidencebased nutritional care to outpatients with prostate cancer at St. Vincents Mens Health Centre acting as a key contact for nutritionrelated concerns across the hospital.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team participating in ward rounds meetings and working groups to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Contribute to the development and delivery of mens health dietetic services working alongside the Cancer Stream directorate to meet strategic goals and improve outcomes.
Support professional development and service quality through student supervision participation in clinical supervision programs quality improvement activities and ongoing education.
Manage and maintain uptodate nutritional resources including input into the Centres online content while tracking clinical activity and KPIs in line with departmental standards.
About you
Qualified nutrition professional with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics recognized by Dietitians Australia ideally holding Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status.
Experienced in delivering evidencebased care with at least 2 years experiencepreferably in oncology and/or mens healthand a strong foundation in quality improvement or research.
Committed to professional growth meeting the annual minimum of 30 hours of continuing professional development and staying up to date with best practices.
A skilled communicator and collaborator with proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams as well as independently demonstrating strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Techsavvy and adaptable with proficiency in Foodworks and Microsoft Office and experience or readiness to provide care via telehealth platforms.
