This role will be located in Seattle Washington.

eCommerce Services (eCS) serves Amazons customers with simplified commerce services and experiences to effortlessly complete their shopping journey while accelerating innovation across Amazons businesses. In particular we aim to provide a seamless and delightful customer experience throughout the authentication and purchase journey powered by foundational services that accelerate business innovation and deliver a secure available performant and reliable shopping experience.

We are seeking an experienced Sr. HRBP who can build and execute our people initiatives across the global organization providing great internal customer support and driving HR functional excellence.



Key job responsibilities
Implements employee engagement strategies to foster an environment based on respect and values
Develops and executes a lifecycle approach to HR programs such as performance management compensation cycles and talent management by assessing organizational performance defining talent gaps and proposing solutions in support of business objectives
Coaches and consults on organizational design and management issues as well as challenging and/or influencing decisionmaking processes
Streamlines and implements new processes to create speed efficiency and agility within the organization
Lead change management efforts around culture and process evolution
Develop thoughtful integrated approaches to promote diversity and inclusion in talent attraction development and retention
Facilitates the consistent application implementation and improvement of Human Resources programs
Partners with HRP team and business leaders to manage daytoday employee relations issues in line with local legislation
Supports rollout of compliance initiatives and provide counsel to management in regards to local employment law and legislation changes
Collaborates with leaders to execute recruitment on boarding and training initiatives and internal mobility
Leverages partnerships and business acumen to enable the creation and implementation of strategies in alignment with business priorities and goals
Immerses into the organization to build productive relationships with internal stakeholders and clients on all levels
Foster leadership success as a proactive thought partner anticipating the business cycles and serving as a consultant during periods of change management as well as leveraging business data metrics and external market insights to inform decisions
Successful candidates will have demonstrated the ability to understand business goals as well as design and implement new approaches policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives productivity and development of HR within the company



Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
5 years of human resources generalist experience.
Experience partnering with business leaders as an influential and credible senior HR leader
Proficiency with HRIS Systems

Masters Degree or MBA in HRM preferred
10 years of HR experience with background in tech operations and corporate HRBP roles
Ability to think strategically execute tactically and collaborate across many teams levels and situations.
Human Resources experience with companies supporting 250500 or more associates
Experience in a variety of HR roles such as tech corporate and ops/FC experience
Develops solutions and is comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
Must be able to operates with autonomy and discretion with a true handson approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the pulse of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
Demonstrated experience with rapid and complex changing work environments

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
