Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Service Delivery:
- Provide clinical supervision and consultations to maintain high rehab standards
- Implement evidencebased practices through guidelines protocols and equipment selection
- Deliver direct clinical services to a diverse patient population
- Oversee rehab team coordination to maximize efficiency and ensure quality care
Operational & Administrative Oversight:
- Monitor postaudit improvements and followup on corrective measures
- Manage equipment procurement allocation maintenance and inventory
- Assist in staff scheduling and caseload distribution
- Lead team meetings focused on enhancing rehab service quality
- Evaluate junior staff performance and provide mentorship
- Conduct incident investigations and reporting
Training Research & Professional Development:
- Develop initiatives to improve efficiency and workplace safety
- Oversee individual staff training plans and competency assessments
- Organize drills audits and skill enhancement programs
- Coordinate inservice training research activities and developmental projects
- Foster specialized expertise among staff and build leadership succession pipelines
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Speech Therapy (recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council)
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Speech Therapist in a community setting
- Project management experience preferred
- Strong ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Effective leadership management and problemsolving skills
