This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher to permanently join Dorin Park School and Specialist SEN College. We are looking for a qualified teacher with a passion for working with pupils with severe learning difficulties and complex needs. We would welcome applications from both Primary and Secondary trained teachers. This role will initially be in a primary class. Experience in teaching an informal curriculum is desirable. Our pupils follow different curriculum pathways and a large number are taught using the EQUALS curriculum. Most pupils in KS4 & KS5 complete Entry Level qualifications.

Dorin Park is a special school for pupils aged 219 with physical difficulties complex medical needs and complex learning needs. We support learners with a range of cognitive abilities from moderate learning difficulties at our satellite provision at a local high school to profound and multiple learning difficulties including pupils with ASC and sensory processing difficulties. Dorin Park is a friendly school with dedicated staff. We are ambitious for our pupils and the school is popular with parents numbers in the school have grown rapidly in both Primary and Senior School.
