We are looking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance and Engineering team to provide effective maintenance support to the Production team maintain and repair the equipment machinery and tools used in the factory.
This is a full time night shift role working Sunday to Thursday.
Role Requirements
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all critical production equipment and systems postproduction.
- Conduct indepth inspections and diagnostics to identify potential mechanical electrical or automation issues.
- Execute repairs replacements and calibrations on machinery postproduction.
- Work from maintenance logs schematics and SOPs to address known or reported issues.
- Assist in system upgrades installations and machinery overhauls without disrupting production schedules.
- Conduct routine proactive startup checkson all critical machinery prior to production start to ensure equipment readiness and minimize delays.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records logs and reports for dayshift review.
- Coordinate with the day shift maintenance and production teams for handovers and issue resolution.
- Contribute to machinery compliance with the relevant health and safety legislation as well a relevant site food hygiene and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area and workshop.
- Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder.
