  • Part time (0.6 FTE) Continuing position. Working days open to negotiation
  • The opportunity to support a learning environment catering for beginners right through to experienced musicians
  • HEO6 Base Salary from $99455 prorata plus 17% super

About the Opportunity

The Sydney Conservatorium of Musics Open Academy is seeking a Community Program Coordinator to provide administrative support for children students musicians music educators and the community at large.

Please note that this role may entail duties outside regular hours and on weekends.

The Open Academy is committed to promoting community musicmaking and offers numerous short courses designed to provide adults and children with the skills and knowledge to pursue their musical interests curiosity or find a creative outlet for their talents in a collaborative group learning environment catering to beginners right through to experienced musicians.

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.

Preemployment checks

Your employment is conditional upon the completion of all role required preemployment or background checks in terms satisfactory to the University. Similarly your ongoing employment is conditional upon the satisfactory maintenance of all relevant clearances and background check requirements. If you do not meet these conditions the University may take any necessary step including the termination of your employment.

This position is designated as involving childrelated work. To undertake or remain in this position you are required to apply for and obtain a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
