Believe that all people have the right to an education and work environment free from fear harassment or discrimination The ChabotLas Positas Community College District is seeking an Athletic Trainer at Chabot College in Hayward CA. Chabot College seeks a dynamic and studentcentered Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive athletic training services to studentathletes and instructional support within the Health Kinesiology and Athletics Division. The Athletic Trainer plays a vital role in preventing evaluating treating and rehabilitating athletic injuries while promoting a culture of safety equity wellness and academic excellence. The position combines clinical athletic training responsibilities with faculty teaching duties including curriculum development student learning outcomes ( SLO ) assessment and student mentorship. The athletic trainer collaborates with faculty coaches health professionals and administrators to support the physical and academic success of studentathletes. This position reports directly to the Division Dean.

Desirable Qualifications
1. Experience working in a California Community College or similar educational setting. 2. Knowledge of 3C2A/ NJCAA / NCAA rules and regulations. 3. Experience supporting a broad range of sports including highcontact and nontraditional athletic programs. 4. Familiarity with electronic medical records software for athletic training. 5. Two years of clinical experience as an athletic trainer in a college university or comparable setting.

Minimum Qualifications
Evidence of a sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students including those with physical or learning disabilities.
