Job Description

The Campbell Elementary School is seeking Special Education Teachers for our Elementary STRIVE substantially separate program for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder for the upcomingschool year. There are two positions available.A certification in Severe Disabilities is preferred but certifications in Moderate Disabilities will be responsibilities:*Provide specialized instruction to students in a Special Education setting*Have a strong understanding of developmental milestones and modified curriculum at the elementary level*Experience and general understanding of the concepts of Applied Behavioral Analysis*Experience with being part of the instructional support team including classroom teachers auxiliary support service providers BCBA and paraprofessionals *Experience with IEP drafting and progress monitoring through the collection of data*Experience with assessment and eligibility determination*Strong organization writing and communication skillsOther responsibilities: *Abide by state statutes school board policies and regulations.*Attend meetings and perform duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.*Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students equipment materials and facilities.*Maintain accurate complete and correct records as required by law district policy and administrative regulation.*Remain current on instructional practices in education. (e.g. instructional technology)
