We’re looking for dedicated Special Education Teachers who are ready to make a meaningful impact supporting students with mild to moderate learning needs. Whether youre an experienced educator or a confident contributor ready to take the next step this is a chance to join a valuesdriven team that prioritizes inclusion collaboration and student growth. 2025–2026 Openings:
  • 2 Elementary RSP (Resource Specialist Program) Teachers
  • 2 Elementary SDC (Mild/Moderate) Teachers
  • 1 Middle School SDC (Mild/Moderate) Teacher
What You’ll Do:
  • Teach support and inspire students in a pullout RSP or selfcontained SDC setting
  • Conduct academic assessments (e.g. WIAT WJ) and contribute to psychoed evaluations
  • Lead and facilitate IEP meetings with care precision and professionalism
  • Collaborate closely with paraeducators service providers and general education teachers
  • Use programs like SEIS TouchMath and Sonday (training available if needed)
  • Guide and mentor paraeducators fostering a positive and cohesive team dynamic
  • Communicate clearly with families and participate in ongoing professional learning
What You’ll Bring:
  • Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Mod or Mod/Severe)
  • Confidence conducting assessments and managing legally compliant IEPs
  • Experience working with specialized curricula or a strong willingness to learn
  • At least 2 years of recent SPED experience in school settings (preferred)
  • Excellent communication organization and followthrough
  • Commitment to equity inclusion and studentcentered learning
  • Reliable transportation and valid CA driver’s license
Note: While this district prefers candidates who reside in San Mateo or San Francisco County (not East Bay or South Bay) please don’t hesitate to reach out.
