What is this job all about
The Program Support Coordinator provides support to management in departments that provide residential services for persons with developmental disabilities mental illness and/or autism spectrum disorders.

What will my daytoday responsibilities look like
This role works closely with management and outside agencies to ensure that the individuals we support are receiving high quality services and services are adhering to appropriate policies and procedures.
You will do this by:
performing ISL variances checks
Completing home checks and other site visits to ensure quality services are provided
Performing quality assurance audits as directed
Performing audits on client and other relevant documentation to ensure best practices are followed
Under the direction of the Director investigating complaints of individuals served parents and/or guardians taking appropriate action or referring problems to the other responsible official for resolution.
Circulating and implementing directives of the Director or other professional maintaining necessary records and reports.
Monitoring group home and/or ISL budgets food accounts client personal spending and ensuring that accounting practices are maintained according to agency policy and as assigned by supervisor
What do I need to be successful in this position
Diploma from an accredited high school or equivalent.
Oneyear experience in the human service field is preferred.
Experience in the provision of treatment and habilitation to individuals who have mental illness autism spectrum disorders and/or developmental disabilities is preferred.
Demonstrated abilities to motivate and lead others.

PROGRAM SUPPORT COORDINATOR
Definition
An employee in this class is responsible providing programmatic support to management in departments that provide residential services for persons with developmental disabilities mental illness and/or autism spectrum disorders. The Program Support Coordinator is a nonexempt hourly position.
Supervision is received from a Director or other professional staff member; however the employee is expected to exercise independent judgement and initiative within the limit of established policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions
The below are intended as examples of various types of work performed they are not all inclusive. The omission of a specific job duty from the below does not exclude them as a required job function as specified by the appropriate supervisor:
1. performs ISL variances checks

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
1. Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion.
2. Ability to work with and respect persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities autism spectrum psychiatric and behavior disorders.
3. Ability to work varied and flexible hours accept and adapt to changes in assignments methods policies etc.
4. Knowledge of basic techniques used in the care treatment and habilitative programming for individuals with mental illness autism spectrum disorders and/or developmental disabilities.
5. Knowledge of elementary behavior support techniques.
6. Ability to understand and follow oral and written direction.
7. Ability to provide direct client care as needed must be able to stand stoop lift up to 50 pounds pull and push items.
8. Must be a licensed and insured driver with ability to obtain a Missouri Class E driver license.
Minimum Experience
Diploma from an accredited high school or equivalent. Oneyear experience in the human service field is preferred. Experience in the provision of treatment and habilitation to individuals who have mental illness autism spectrum disorders and/or developmental disabilities is preferred. Has demonstrated abilities to motivate and lead others.
Training Requirements
- Successfully complete a course in CardioPulmonary Resuscitation.
- Successfully complete a course in First Aide.
- Successfully complete a 16hour course in Medication Administration.
- Successfully complete a 10hour course in MANDT System Workshop.
- Successfully complete a course in OSHA regulations on Health and Safety.
- Successfully complete a 2hour course in proper use of lifts seat belts and tie downs.
- Attendance at Monthly Management Training seminars.
