Job description:
Under minimal supervision performs work planning demand and supply requirements.
Requirements:
Experience in management of Requisitions PO conversion per SAP Report.
Experience in Raw Materials Planning
Experience in Rapid Response (nice to have)
SAP experience
Manage supplier communication and escalation regarding: PO delivery postponement past due / missed orders PO quantity discrepancies closing balances missing documents COA / packing list.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Experience participating in projects.
Knowledge in Smartsheet and any other reporting for metrics. (Nice to have)
Responsibilities:
Analyze consolidate and report demand to management coworkers and customers.
Develop multiple scenarios to assist in driving long range plans and capacity analysis.
Maintain excellent communication lines with all sources of demand.
Use credibility planning knowledge and expertise to influence demand process as appropriate.
Track and analyze monthly performance metrics and reports to assist our sources with improving the quality of their outputs.
Develop and provide monthly planning models for all products by implementing extensive inventory control and process development techniques to minimize variability impact and maximize production utilization.
Manage the expedition of product releases to alleviate inventory shortages via business management utilizing intra and inter departmental correspondences.
Represent PPIC on current and new Product/Operations Development Teams to insure product manufacturability efficient production methods and plant efficacy.
Provide training for intra and inter departmental staff on Planning processes functions and procedures.
Provide education and information on Planning and product decisionmaking processes in order to improve the overall communication pathways of PPIC with other related departments.
Understand how PPIC fits in Amgen/Logistics and business process to provide development opportunities and continuous process improvement.
Provide leadership guidance mentorship and training to other Planners as to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Represent PPIC in crossfunctional teams and projects at the direction of PPIC management.
Education:
Doctorate or Masters 2 years of directly related experience or Bachelors 4 years of directly related experience or Associates 8 years of directly related experience or High school/GED 10 years o directly related experience
