About the Opportunity
This is an exciting new opportunity to join a diverse and dynamic Community Development and Youth Services Team. This role is responsible for overseeing the day to day implementation of the Community Centre and will be responsible for the operation of programs and initiatives to promote accessibility and participation meeting the needs of the local community including providing affordable classes activities and social networks to suit all age role includes delivering highquality and consistent standards of excellent customer service providing timely and accurate support for both internal and external stakeholders.
Tasks for this role include:
This role is a Permanent Fulltimeopportunity with a Monthly ADO. Remuneration begins at $88.9K to $96.7K (Band 6) plus superannuation.
About You
You will be a highly organised and experienced individual to join our team in the Placemaking officer role. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience in the delivery of community development frameworks coupled with a strong background in customer service and community liaison. You will possess a high level of collaboration skills working with diverse stakeholders including government and community organisations computer proficiency and effective budget management skills.
Our successful candidate will have excellent time management skills which will enable you to prioritise effectively and manage competing requests while onsiteexcellent oral and written communication skills ensuring smooth interactions with staff stakeholders and the community.
A genuine interest in working within the local government sector is highly desirable.
