Opal Packaging is an industryleading packaging business across Australia and New Zealand. We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Setter to join the team at our Shepparton site.
Working closely with the production supervisor some of the responsibilities of this role include:
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure smooth and efficient performance
- Set up and adjust machines for production runs ensuring optimal settings for the specific materials and processes
- Upholding safety standards in the workplace and around machinery
- Machine setting and tooling
- Finding faults on carton erecting machines which can vary from mechanical electrical pneumatic

For this role we would ideally like you to have:
- A trade background as a fitter or mechanical related discipline
- Experience working in a manufacturing or warehousing environment would be beneficial (but is not essential)
- An agile mindset and a reliable workethic
- The desire to problem solve and work with production machinery
