You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailDescription: The Vigilante Coffee Retail Manager is an innovative organized experienced and driven leader that ensures our cafes are running in tip top shape. Both from a profitability standpoint but also with regards to quality customer experience and sustainability.
Our west coast cafes; located in Oceanside & Vista are busy vibrant shops where we focus on high quality & great service. The cafe manager leads the team of Coffee Professionals and keeps the cafes on track administratively operationally and logistically. The manager sets the example for the cafe team. Responsible for day to day management of the cafes and will build train and develop a talented team which delivers results encourages and fosters the Vigilante culture and creates world class coffee experiences.
Sets the conditions for exceptional hospitality including friendliness cleanliness speed of service and beverage quality. Actively building the community within the cafe by partnering with local organizations and engaging the community through events and activities. Responsible for creating and executing monthly and quarterly business plans to drive revenue and maximize bottomline profitability. Embraces our sustainability initiatives and helps us work towards becoming zero waste operation.
Must be able to manage the developmental aspects of cafe employees.
Requirements: Barista Experience (in specialty coffee cafe for a minimum of 1 year) in addition 1 years of management experience is required. ServSafe Food Manager Cert required upon starting. Weekends & holiday availability required. Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for coffee quality and service.
Work Environment: Work is performed within the cafe The work environment can be high paced noisy and interfacing with the public. Days begin at 6:30am ensuring smooth starts to daily cafe operations.
