Mindshare is an agency of GroupM the worlds largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for aDirector Strategy to join us. In this role you will be responsible for managing client relationship and help drive digital agenda for the respective clients. You would will be working with a team of digital experts to deliver integrated digital solutions to fulfil clients digital objectives.

1. Wed like you to be a trusted resource and partner to our clients especially their product marketing and innovation leads not afraid to have the tough conversations when necessary but also willing to adapt to their needs.
2. Providing strategy inputs for key projects on key marketing growth challenges such as new markets communicating new offerings mapping offline & online consumer journeys creating campaign architectures audience planning etc
3. Bringing new age thinking including creating opportunities for analytics emerging tech content partnerships and datadriven marketing on key clients handled and participation in new business pitches.
In this role your goals will be:
In three months:
- Identifying a strategy charter for clients based on historical learnings category and competition understanding
- Engage with client Marketing team on all key campaigns driving strategic thinking that will influence media planning.
In six months:
- Regular engagement across different campaigns with demonstrated impact on plans becoming goto person with client for strategic inputs
- Full knowledge of GroupM tools digital and data partnerships and capabilities.
- Working on identified projects and GroupM capabilities
- Leading AOPs across identified client clusters and participation in new business pitches
In 12 months:
- Delivering Breakthrough work across campaigns
- Involved in central strategy projects.
- Bringing crosscategory learnings together to set up client strategy workshops setting up partner days test and learn initiatives and regular reviews with clients
What your day job looks like at GroupM:
- Collaborating with strategy leadership and account leads to create strategy charter/projects.
- Part of weekly client meetings reviews campaign strategy presentations.
- Research research research! Build a strong foundation that elevates discussions with senior clients
- Use of GroupM/EM tools to design new solutions relevant for key clients handled
What youll bring:
- Detailoriented proficient with industry tools and sharp eye for insights
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills Drafting whitepapers generating case studies independently building a clientcentric perspective ability to confidently present to senior management
- Extremely wellread well informed about marketing trends having a strong Pov on brand building business models growth cycles and emerging role of technology in marketing
- Extreme curiosity investigating the why of something being able to draw patterns and learnings from multiple industries and adjacencies
- Optimistic and collaborative Being able to successfully work across functions disciplines while being seen as a valuable contributor and enabler
Minimum qualifications:
- 6 years with a digital media planning/digital media strategy background
- MBA with marketing specialization.
