Job Description

Chelmsford Public Schools Announcement of Teaching Vacancies for theSchool YearThe Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes enrollment or budget. Position: Special Education Teacher Grade 5 & 6 Location: Parker Middle School General Description: Design supervise and implement students IEP plans Instruct students using specialized curriculum programs/methodology Develop curriculum modifications and adaptations. Participate in IEP Team meetings. Write effective IEPs for students Collect and analyze student data and monitor student progress Effectively work with a team of professionals to coordinate services Consult with general education teacher and related service providers. Assist classroom teachers with instructional strategies to facilitate inclusion. Write quarterly progress reports for IEP goals that are data based on student performance. Administer various diagnostic achievement assessments (WIATIII KTEA Key Math GORT 5 CTOPP etc) that identifies student capabilities as part of initial and reevaluation for students.
