Job Description
Bay Bluffs Emmet County Medical Care Facility is currently seeking nurses with geriatric end of life and/or palliative care experience. Join our team as we provide our residents with exceptional care in a home like environment with compassion and dignity. With a total team approach we combine dedicated administration with an experienced professional staff to offer a variety of services and programs for our residents ranging for short term rehabilitation to longterm and dementia focused care and End of Life/Hospice care. We are looking for compassionate hardworking people to join our team of dedicated caregivers.

- Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical psychosocial and environmental needs of residents
- Assess residents conditions and chart observations and perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review
- Administer medication as prescribed by the residents physician
- Provide effective communication to residents their family members team members and other health care professionals
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma Associate or Bachelors School of Nursing or vocational nursing
- Current state license as an RN
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Compassionate friendly demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
