Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Hi General Managers
1) Does your grocery store experience include;
- Staff management ( 135 staff members) manage staff schedules staff performance CCMA cases etc.
- Stock take ordering of stock and stock management.
- Daily cashups.
- GRVs.
- Buying and merchandising for the store.
- Store marketing and advertising.
- Targets budgeting store performance and store management.
- Expense controls and shrinkage controls.
- Daily budgeting sales and reports.
- Loss control and risk management.
- Health and safety and hygiene.
- HR management and recruitment for the store.
- Store finance administration.
2) Desired Experience & Qualification
- 5 to 8 years (or more) experience as a Store Manager of a large Foods and Groceries Wholesale/Retail store
- Store Manager experience WITHIN the Food and Groceries Retail/Wholesale Industry for example experience with companies such as: Cash and Carry stores Spar Boxer Superstores Makro etc.
- A proven successful employment record with special achievements
- A valid drivers license.
3) Salary Range: R50000 to R60000 Total cost to company per month (PLEASE NOTE: salary will be dependent on the candidates current job level years of relevant industry experience etc.)
