Position Summary
The Admissions Counselor has the primary responsibility for recruiting admitting and enrolling undergraduate fulltime students from a sizable geographical territory. Extensive travel to high schools and college fairs within the Universitys primary secondary and tertiary markets is required. The Admissions Counselor works in collaboration with the Admissions team to meet enrollment targets and goals. The Admissions Counselor reports to the Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions. Proficiency or fluency in Spanish is preferred.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree. Valid drivers license. Ability to work as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal skills. Some experience working in higher education or a related field. Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency or fluency in Spanish. Capable of undertaking complex admissions responsibilities with minimal direction. Strong customer service orientation and experience in developing recruiting and communication strategies. Previous experience using Technolutions Slate CRM . Previous experience using Ellucians BANNER .
