Senior Building Science Engineer / Project Manager
GTA Ontario REMOTE / Hybrid
Salary: $90K $105K Benefits

THE COMPANY
Our client is a well established multidisciplined Engineering firm with a number of offices across the country. They are looking for a talented Building Science Project Manager to manage and oversee projects in Ontario. This company specialize in the inspection and evaluation of buildings and building information including; rehabilitation design engineering building envelope investigations reserve fund studies building condition assessments performance audits structural assessments and drawing and document management services/software.
THE ROLE
As a Project Manager at either an advanced intermediate or senior level you will oversee project phases through design construction documents preparation and construction period services. The successful candidate will work with project coordination site visits project financials manage client relationships team communication and liaise with municipal authorities and you will be responsible for reviewing work quality control and ensuring projects are delivered to set budget and timelines. Ultimately you will oversee the successful execution of building science and building envelope projects in collaboration with other teams in the firm and across a variety of sectors.

- Be a registered building science engineer () in Ontario
- Possess at least 10 years of industry experience with at least 4 years of experience in Project Management
- Have some experience in strategic development business development and client management is required
- Experienced with feasability studies building condition assessments (BAS) reserve fund studies report writing and contractor liasion
- Possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills flexibility and resourcefulness
- Capable of mentoring and managing junior staff
- A strong understanding of project accounting is required in order to monitor project performance and forecast revenue
- Be able to be physically located in Ontario ideally within driving distance to Burlington or downtown Toronto
- Able to travel to site must possess Valid Drivers License and vehicle
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Able to work at least one day in office (remote working available with regular site visits across the GTA required)
