Assistant General Manager Fitness Club
Location: Amsterdam
Salary:per month plus bonus opportunities of 400 per month
Job Type: FullTime (Permanent)

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for fitness and wellness Were looking for an enthusiastic Assistant General Manager to join the team at a leading fitness club in Amsterdam. In this role youll support the General Manager in daytoday operations lead a highperforming team and ensure every member enjoys an exceptional club experience. Responsibilities
Club Operations: Oversee daily club activities ensuring everything runs smoothly and professionally.
Team Leadership: Coach and support instructors frontofhouse staff and trainers. Act as the key leader in the absence of the General Manager.
Customer Experience: Champion a warm welcoming environment and handle member queries with care and confidence.
Sales & Retention: Support membership sales retention strategies and community engagement efforts.
Facility Standards: Maintain high standards of cleanliness safety and operational efficiency throughout the club.
Strategic Support: Contribute to planning reporting and implementing initiatives to drive overall club performance.
Requirements
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role ideally within fitness hospitality or retail.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
A genuine passion for health and fitness.
Organised dependable and confident managing multiple priorities.
Comfortable working flexible hours including some early mornings evenings and weekends.
Basic IT and administrative skills including use of scheduling and membership systems.
