Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant with deep expertise in Outbound Logistics Transportation and Customs Processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders supply chain and logistics teams to analyze requirements design solutions and implement best practices within the SAP ecosystem ensuring full compliance with transportation and international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design configuration and implementation of SAP MM Outbound Logistics processes including delivery creation shipping and goods issue.
Configure and support SAP Transportation Management (TM) or SD/MMbased transportation processes.
Design and implement Customs Handling solutions and integration with external customs systems ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (SD LE GTS EWM) to streamline outbound process flows.
Map business requirements and translate them into system solutions aligned with SAP best practices.
Conduct workshops gather requirements and create functional specifications for enhancements.
Provide expertise in shipping documents freight calculation route determination and delivery scheduling.
Work with development teams for necessary RICEFW objects and perform system testing (SIT/UAT).
Provide postgolive support and continuous improvement for outbound and customsrelated SAP processes.
Required Skills and Experience:
8 years of handson experience with SAP MM and Outbound Logistics processes.
Strong functional knowledge of transportation shipment processing and freight cost management.
Experience in customs compliance and related processes (e.g. export documentation HS codes bonded stock handling).
Familiarity with SAP LETRA SAP GTS or integration with external customs software (preferred).
Involvement in at least 1 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations or roll outs with a focus on outbound processes.
Strong analytical documentation and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with international teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in SAP S/4HANA logistics modules.
Exposure to SAP TM (Transportation Management).
Knowledge of EDI related to outbound shipments and customs.
SAP Certification in MM or Logistics Execution (a plus).
Key Responsibilities: Lead the configuration and support of Result Analysis (RA) within SAP CO-PA and CO-PS, including settings for cost-based and revenue-based RA types. Design and implement Resource-Related Billing (RRB) processes using SAP CS/FICO, supporting service orders, dynamic item generation (DIG), and billing document creation. Collaborate with project systems, customer service, and controlling teams to ensure end-to-end integration between service delivery and financial reporting. Conduct workshops with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system designs. Support month-end closing activities related to WIP calculation, profitability analysis, and revenue recognition using RA. Customize DIP (Dynamic Item Processor) profiles, billing requests, and pricing procedures for RRB scenarios. Perform detailed testing (unit, integration, and UAT), user training, and go-live support. Document system design, configuration, and process flows related to RA and RRB.
