Tender Executive is responsible for managing the entire process of identifying preparing and submitting tenders and proposals to secure business contracts or projects. This includes researching tender opportunities coordinating with internal teams preparing and compiling bid documents and following up on submission status.
Key Responsibilities of a Tender Executive:
Tender Identification and Research:
Identifying and evaluating tender opportunities from various sources including online platforms client requests and public notices.
Researching and understanding the specific requirements of each tender.
Document Preparation and Submission:
Preparing and compiling bid documents including technical and financial bids.
Ensuring all tenders are submitted within the stipulated deadlines.
Preparing documents for etendering platforms like the GeM portal.
Coordination and Communication:
Coordinating with internal departments to gather necessary information and resources.
Receiving and dealing with client inquiries.
Following up with prospective buyers and stakeholders.
Managing communication with clients and other relevant parties.
Tender Monitoring and Management:
Tracking tender submission status and deadlines.
Maintaining accurate records of tender documents and outcomes.
Preparing MIS reports on a daily and monthly basis.
Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining relationships with clients suppliers and other stakeholders.
Negotiating agreements and commercial contracts.
