Job Description

Our client is an international company that specializes in process technology focusing on the design and manufacture of highperformance equipment for the food beverage pharmaceutical and chemical industries. As an organization committed to continuous growth and investment in its future our client seeks to further develop its operations and strengthen its business in the APAC region. To achieve this they are looking for an ambitious and highly skilled channel sales professional.

Channel Sales Manager APAC

Based in Bangkok Thailand



This is a pivotal role within the organization where you will take full ownership of the sales cycle from managing inbound inquiries to supporting our channel partners and agents in closing deals. Your primary focus will be on promoting and selling laboratory scale machines to food and beverage pharmaceutical chemical manufacturers via our established and expanding distributor network. Laboratory scale solutions play a critical role in helping manufacturers validate process formulations and ingredient mixes before committing to industrial scale production lines. Your responsiveness and proactive engagement during this early stage will be instrumental in building client trust a key factor in driving future sales of largescale food and beverage processing equipment.

You will report directly to the Managing Director based in Thailand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with customers/agents/distributors across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming customer and distributor inquiries.
  • Provide accurate quotations product information and answer technical queries.
  • Monitor sales pipeline follow up on leads and drive opportunities to closure.
  • Ensure all information in CRM (Salesforce) is updated and of high quality.
  • Provide training and marketing support to distributors to enhance their sales effectiveness.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to the product and marketing teams.
  • Attend trade shows exhibitions and customer visits as required.
  • Work with Managing Director in pricing strategies and incentives to channel partners and agents.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.


Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in food technology science engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in channel sales or technical account management preferably in laboratory equipment or related fields within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory testing processes and customer needs in the food and beverage sector.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts prioritize inquiries and respond quickly to sales opportunities.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable with regional travel across Asia Pacific.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
