Cloudstreet is proud to support the Northern Territory Government (NTG) in recruiting toptier talent for critical digital transformation initiatives delivered by Digital Project Services (DPS). DPS is the NTG s lead unit for managing complex highvalue and highrisk ICT programs. These include multiyear digital transformation projects that support frontline government services and are delivered through interagency collaboration.

Flagship programs under DPS include the Core Clinical Systems Renewal Program the Client Management System Alignment Program and SerPro. DPS also provides strategic project management support across a range of other government agency initiatives.

To execute these programs effectively DPS engages service providers such as Cloudstreet to source and deploy highly skilled professionals with the expertise required to meet the unique demands of each initiative.

About the Project and Work Unit

The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) is currently delivering a major ICT program on behalf of Northern Territory Police Fire and Emergency Services (NTPFES) known as SerPro. This program is funded to replace the NT s ageing policing system PROMIS which is approaching endoflife.

SerPro is focused on delivering a contemporary integrated solution that will modernize and support policing operations across the Northern Territory. The program represents a critical investment in public safety technology and is a cornerstone of the NT Government s digital transformation agenda.

• Consultation with project team endusers and other key stakeholders to manage assigned activities.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated skill in writing multilayered applications with C# .Net / Web Applications / SQL Server.
  
• Demonstrated experience with .net code stack such as Bamboo JIRA confluence
  
• Demonstrated skills with Web Services Mainframe integration or Message Queues such as IBM MQ.
  
• Demonstrated skill with .Net MVC or WebAPI or ServiceStack framework.
  
• Demonstrated skill with modern version control systems such as Git Mercurial or Subversion.
  
• Demonstrated skill in writing unit tests.
  
• Experience working with a business analyst during requirements gathering.
  
• Experience creating web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  
• Experience with a clientside Javascript library such as Knockout or Angular.
  
• Experience in technical architecture design application development and programming to develop well designed solutions.
  
• Tertiary qualifications in information technology computer science or software engineering.
  
• Welldeveloped organisational skills with ability to work within a project team to deliver solutions within agreed timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
  

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in designing and developing solutions for NTG business systems is preferred.
  
• Demonstrated experience with PowerBuilder
  
• Demonstrated skill with Desktop UI development preferably WPF.
  
• Demonstrated skill with web development (HTML/CSS/Javascript).
  
• Demonstrated skill with an Object Relational Mapping framework such as NHibernate LLBLGen or Entity Framework.
  
• Demonstrated skill in designing relational databases using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
  
• Demonstrated skills with Unit Testing such as NUnit.
